The Finnish wolves on the news

Together with other European countries, Finland is committed to halt the loss of natural diversity by 2020. As conservation of biodiversity has become a global issue, efforts have been made to restore wolf and other predator populations that were exterminated in the past. Unfortunately the current wolf population in Finland is extremely low (150-180 individuals left) and this has received wide attention from the Finnish and international media such as YLE, The Guardian, AP, The New York Times, Deutsche Welle, and many others.
